You've set up your publication, and now it's time to start writing. Here's a few tips to getting the most from Scriber's editor.

Using the Scriber editor@2x.png

Whether you're new to content creation or a seasoned veteran, chances are that you've used a content editor before. At Scriber, we've designed a deliberately simple editor that offers you the tools you need to create visually clean and engaging content, but without excessive buttons, drop downs or menu items.

Here, we break down the tools available to you when crafting your first post.

It all starts with the + button

On Scriber all styling and formatting options are located in the purple + button within the editor screen. The + button will follow you vertically as you write and scroll through your article, so it's always conveniently placed to help you edit your content.

To open your styling and formatting options, just click the + button.

Images

Images add visual flair and impact to your posts, and are a great way to break up long text passages for the reader.

When you add an image, you'll be given the option to add a caption and "Alt Text." Alt Text allows search engines to understand what your image relates to so it can be returned in image search results.
